Reporting directly in to the senior management team, this role with have the responsibility of the whole marketing and sales function which comprises of; marketing, comms, social media, web dev, pr, events, sales – B2B sales and marketing, schools liaison and international.
The college want to put in a contact centre that manages all inbound enquiries which will involve the planning of this centre including processes and the hiring of staff.
The sales and marketing function is around 10 people at the moment and they hoping to grow this number.
The aim of the role is to build the structure of the teams within the sales and marketing function, instil new processes throughout the department, hire new members of staff, then line manage and run the department until a permanent member of staff is found.
The senior team would expect to see the following experience on a CV;
* sales and marketing
* management of campaigns and KPIs
* understanding ROI
* strong understanding of sales process
* people management
* digital platforms.
* Experience within the higher education or commercial world. A bit of FE experience would be handy but they are looking for someone from outside of the sector ideally.
